I have plenty of breeding data from Franklin County, and I can tell you its been slim to none here lately. LOL.... I'm sorry.
On a serious note. The rut is spread out in Franklin County from what I see in the places I hunt. Northern Franklin county is around Thanksgiving and as you move south, the most southern area I hunt the best time to see rutting activity is from the 20th thru end of Dec. into Jan.

Thanks for all of the info men! Not 100% sure when to tailor my efforts, but it sure seems Thanksgiving to Christmas is the window to explore if/when comfortably away from the Franklin County mountains. Which is honestly a dynamic I am familiar with as I have hunted that same mountain range quite a bit further south across the line and the rut there lines up well with what you guys have stated, which in turn doesn't line up at all with hunting the Tennessee river bottoms around Huntsville for example. Crazy how different it is from locale to locale within 1.5 hour in any direction from Huntsville.
