Putnam County Rut Timing

I moved to Cookeville last year and wondering when is the rut good in this area? I'm on a lease in Marshall County TN and we've always had good daylight movement during first couple weeks of rifle season.

Can anyone share when they must be in the woods in Putnam.

All of muzzleloader and all of rifle. I prefer to be there from Nov 4-24

Sounds like a rut timing that matches up with the northern to central tier of the state. Southern middle TN, which Marshall County falls under IMO, is hot even in December.

I asked a Cookeville processor/taxidermist when the peak of the rut was in the area. He said during muzzleloader season.
He would know.

I think its muzzleloader season all over the state. I just saw a spike chasing a doe this morning. I would say its on right now.

I like the first week of December but agree that muzzle loader is hot
