i have reloaded my first shell. How do you know how deep to seat the bullet? i loaded a 243, 70 gr nosler BT, 40 grs 4064. the max lenght is 2.710. my shell is 2.690. am i good?

good place to start,,with the light bullets seat them one caliber deep..
measure the case ,measure the bullet,add them together and subtract .243,
next time over i will show you how to find the max length, and how to set up .010 short of max,,works best more times than not,,but sometimes you cant because the bullet is to short to reach,,or too long to fit in mag,,
