Quota WMA draw results

This year Arkansas deadline was July 31 at midnight and I received my successful notification Aug 1 at 3:10 pm so it took them about 15 hours.

My buddy that applied for AR turkey quota hunts back in the spring, raved about how quick he got his results back.

I saw where TWRA had posted on Facebook duck draw were Aug5 and deer were Aug 8 but I have not got anything yet

We drew.....nothing yet.

I'm surprised nobody has started this thread yet as we wait on the results. LBL is promised on the 8th I believe. TN has already been a week.

Just checked my LBL and it reads Pending Draw on 8/21/23. Maybe Ian wrong…I hope.

I "think" it's usually after lunch say 2pm or 3pm est

Not a knock on TWRA, because I'd probably do the same thing, but I'm pretty sure they release the results as they're headed out the door for the day. It gives hunters a chance to work-out their "questions/problems" on their own that evening and cuts down on phone calls.

I hope everybody gets what they wanted. It will be interesting to see if there's a difference with all the hunters who relocated to TN.

I'd imagine there will be quite a few more applications than previous years, but that's just a swag, without much 's' added in.
