Man i suck worse at deer hunting than i thought have yet to even see a deer much less one to shoot. Thought we would come out here and shoot a couple crockpot heifers but that happening

It's an interesting place to hunt. You're either in the thick of it or you see nothing. Been skunk more often than not when I've hunted up there. Being that far away, just can't scout it well enough to have any consistent success.

Them big woods is tough hunting. It would take many years to get a handle on movement patterns. Much like LBL, the population is not close to what it once was.
