This will be my last SML. It is the lightest I've ever built at 7.6 lb unscoped. With a 55gr powder chamber, I plan to shoot 225gr thru 275gr projectiles at ~2900 fps with charges from 55 to 78gr. It has been in the works for a year, thanks to Krieger.

Pure Precision custom skeletonized SML action with a fluted bolt on a Remington footprint in a Pure Precision Carbonfiber stock. Timney elite hunter trigger.
The custom base will be pinned to the action. Hankins HIS magnum module ignition system with hard Aluminum Nìckel Bronze modules.
.400/.408 40cal 22" Krieger 16 twist 8 groove narrow land #6 Heavy Bull Sporter profile barrel. Thought about fluting it but it's pretty lite as at is so I didn't want to create any weak points. Pictured, it has a Silencer Co ASR brake for quick suppressor attachment. Hillbill is gonna get me a self-timing 4 port titanium brake on his next batch order. I haven't made up my mind on the scope. I want to keep it lite with max zoom around 12 - 16x. I'm open to suggestions.
