Public Land 8 For My Son

I couldn't be more proud. My 10 year old got his first on some public land here by the house. Shot him at 2:15 yesterday. We were setup on a steep bank overlooking a creek bottom. And this guy came in picture perfect for our setup. Shot was 90 yards, and my Son smoked him. From the ground and shooting off some cheap sticks, he made a heartshot with his Mossberg 20g slug gun. Deer went 25 yards and piled up. I don't know which one of us is more stoked. I thought it was me until I overheard him telling his cousins about it. He's ate up with it now.
