Anybody tried the "new" Goex formula. I bought fffg loose powder and was a bit disappointed that American pioneer was a comaker in the formula. I will try it and hope for good results. The reason for the disapointment is due to very poor results I witnessed with the American Pioneer Pellets.
Question #2 I am in the process of buying a .45 Cherokee that is about 30 yrs old I am told. If the twist is 1:48 I know it will shoot heavy conicals great. Can the same be said for "heavy" sabots?

For yall's interest...The Goex co-made by American Pioneer Powder is really great powder. It did everything as advertised. Low smoke very little fouling wiped up with a couple of wet patches and gave good velocity at same charge as pyrodex. I'll still NEVER recommend the sticks.
