Picked up a bushel of fresh Carolina clusters. Steamed half of them last night with a pound of royal reds. Good eats

Not sure what Acme style is but I love grilling them with a little garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Well, I guess technically Drago's in Metairie first did chargrilled oysters, but Acme and Felix's are the places I've enjoyed them the most. That's what I call Acme style.

No, can't say that I have.

There are few pleasures in life I relish more than a plate of freshly grilled oysters, with the butter still bubbling and the Parmesean stuck to the slick side of the shell. Squeeze some lemon on top and maybe a dash of hot sauce.....

I'm the same way with a platter full of ice cold raw...and a couple pitchers.

When it comes down to it, the only offensive preparation for oysters I see is when they make a "shot" with vodka. Gross.
