I had done some deer hunting on again off again years ago and this is my first season back after 20 years. This is also my first year turkey hunting. Is it just me, or is it the area that I am in, but are there bids everywhere?
I posted earlier this week about the herd that I saw on Monday. Later this week I saw another 10 to 15 in a field in a different area. Then today I was heading down the new 109 bypass and was near the top and caught a shape gliding across the top of my windshield. I did a double take and there were about 5 that had launched off one of the ridges across the road.
Like I said this is new to me but is there something going on with the birds this time of year?
