Me and my son got drawn to hunt Catoosa's second muzzle loader hunt. Due to work and his school schedule have gotten the opportunity to scout. I was looking for some help with spots I need to be looking at. I've been looking over maps of area for points of interest but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Doubt you will get much information on an open public forum. Just pick something on the map and then go look elsewhere at lunchtime that no one is parked if needed, or maybe try to get down the day before the hunt. 80,000 acres so it's a big place. Good luck!

I would suggest hunting genesis side vs Bi-Color, as that's where most of my luck has came from. Terrain changes both topographical and vegetation "edges" are your friend. If you don't find any luck, cruise around during a time when most people are in the woods, look for odd/overlooked areas that deer might escape to during the pressure from the orange army.
