Got one for $20. It has a hairline crack in the barrel close to the breech. Can this be fixed or should I just let my 4year old have it? (it looks like something from pirates of the caribean

What mike243 said!

Dad had one for a while. I remember tracking a doe that had been shot. When we got up to the doe, it was still alive. Dad thought it would be a good reason to use the ML pistol since that was the season. Thing couldn't hit a blimp at 10 yards! I kid you not, he was 10 yards away and it missed!

Great conversation piece, I guess.

Any gun with a cracked barrel is a Bad accident waiting to happen.
If you want one for Deer Hunting you should consider something made for Big Game.
My Traditions 50 cal in line will do the job .

That's more like it WestTN. How many grains of powder do you shoot in that one?
I agree. How much did that one run you? I can always carry mine as a non-lethal self defense weapon. LOL;)
