I hunt with a Davide Pedersoli double barrel 12 ga blackpowder. Very nice all around gun. I killed this turkey with it a few years ago. There are many MZ shotguns to choose from, but you have to decide just how primitive you want to be before choosing what you want.

When you decide what gun you want this will also determine what load and powder you use. I use 80 grains of triple 7 powder and 1 3/4 oz of # 6 shot. but the most important part is what type of over powder card and cushioning wad you use beneath your shot.

I found a Knight TK 2000 and just thought that it would add some more fun for me to turkey hunting. I like to use bows and muzzleloaders as often as I can. Could you give some idea of what I might be getting into and what I would need to get started.
