Tristar Viper G2 20ga with a Jeb's .560 Headhunter choke, Vortex Venom reflex sight, and Rogue #9's. First time in the field with it. Hope to try it out!

Been keeping it old school with my Dad's 10 ga. goose gun. It's an old Eibar side by side with 32" full & full chokes. My dad used it exclusively for geese in Michigan during the lead shot days of the 60s. When he passed ... I thought it be a wall hanger since you can't shoot steel through full choke double barrels (split the weld). Then when I moved south to the land of turkeys ... ah, you can still use lead shot for that!

I use 3.5" 2 1/4 oz # 6. It's a tight pattern!

I had 27 things to do this morning when I got up and SOMEHOW I managed to get them all done, including shooting this new gun. I think Im going to roll the dice and carry it in the morning. Last shot was about 6 inches low at 40 so I locked the gun down and moved the dot to the center of the pattern. 340 hits in the 10.

Either a Weatherby Element turkey in 20 gauge or Retay Marsia Mara turkey 20. Love the short barrel and feel of both of these guns.

I am committed to getting one with my bow this year. Won't pull out the shotgun until the last two weeks of the season or whenever I get my first one with a bow. When I do I am taking my Stevens 301 20 gauge. These are the patterns with a .562 IC

I'm taking the 835 with 3.5 #5's.

It's surprising that only 3 of us have plans on using the best turkey gun ever made.
