My mother used to make her own brown gravy with the drippings from the meatloaf. I can still taste it, it was amazing!

My mom would take a pound and a half of ground beef and mix with a can of corned beef hash.
Form into a loaf and top with strips of bacon.

I saw a recipe for a smoked meatloaf wrapped in bacon looked good. Never tried it.
