Got to get a deer first.
Caution- Wife tried ground turkey for meatloaf. Went into the garbage. Horrible!

I got the deer......
Wanting to hear of a sure fire winner of a recipe

2 lb Ground meat
1 pack Lipton meat loaf mix
1 can diced tomato, I like the For Roasted from Hunts
1 pack \ sleeve of crackers, crushed
1 large egg

Topping
Ketchup , Brown sugar and spicey mustard. I never measure this out.

Mix all of above together and form a loaf in your favorite oven safe pan.
Cover the loaf with the topping mix. Bake at 450 for 1 hour.

I have never smoked the meatloaf but I think I might the next one.

Make Shure your ground has pork fat or it will be very dry.

1 pound breakfast sausage
1 medium onion
1 bell pepper
1 can of rotell
2 eggs
a cup of oats for a binder
1/2 cup of ketchup
