My apologies to the serious Mathew's shooters if my kidding went too far . I like to have fun , but in no way will I ever knock a person's choice of bows . Heck , I'm a Mathew's shooter too ,but I'm not as brand loyal as some guys may be .
I have nothing against buying a new bow every year , even if it isn't any better than last year's model . That's what keeps the bow companies , and our proshops in business .
If the bow fits , shoot it, and shoot it well !

I made JayMc's top ten list!!!! I must admit I love arguing with Radar, even when I agree with him i will still post the opposite of what he does just to see his reaction but it's all in fun and nothing personal.I don't believe Mathews is the only good bow company, but as long as they are in business I will shoot their bows only and not the "off brand" companies bows-I had to steal a line from LCU.

Thats okay , I'll just continue to kill deer with the "off brand" bows just as well as the Mathews . In fact , that comment from LCU motivated me this season . Some guys need a certain brand on their limbs to make them feel better about their choice and fit in with the crowd ,not me .

I'm kind of offended, but glad I wasn't named in this post.

You know what guys. I've been watching the Archery Talk classifieds here this week. I think I'm just going to buy me a Mathews Drenalin. I haven't shot the new 2009 bows yet but I don't think I want to. People are flooding the market with bows to get money for the new ones and they are starting to degrade the resale value of them. So logic got me thinking on this one.

I could spend $900+ for a new bow bare naked and still have to put accessories on it. In which I would probably go the cheaper route for that since laying down a grand isn't something I can lay down too easy.

Or I could snatch one of these Drenalins or DXTs up for about $400-$425 and put one heck of a nice setup together for under what one of the 2009s cost new and bare.

I bought a mint condition 07 Drenalin on AT is July.
Think I paid 450,bare bow.
Now that the new bows are out, I hope to get another great deal on a DXT for a back-up bow.
AT has the best used prices, if you shop it daily.
I bought mine the same afternoon it was posted.
