I have a lease and the best place to set my blind is in a fence row that a public road on the other side of it. I will not be shooting across the road but in the opposite direction onto leased private property. Just to clarify, the blind will be located on private property but close to a public road. Is there a law regarding being a specific distance from a road when hunting?

You have to be off the legal right of way, and cannot shoot in or across the road.

You can check with your county road department for the legal right of way sistance for that road.
