My group drew the first hunt April 11-12.
This!!Forgot about it! Lol, oh well with a two bird limit , no bonus bird and long drive , No big deal. Good luck to those who got drawn.
I've got chemo scheduled for the 10th so it will get changed.Got 11&12 if I have chemo those days it will get changed.
Same report I received from fellow hunters that drew quota hunt last few years.Good luck. BigAl and I went last year and didn't see or hear a turkey. The hog sign was everywhere though.
Any swine that I encounter will likely die from TSS poisoning.Same report I received from fellow hunters that drew quota hunt last few years.
I thought about applying for the KY side, but then, decided not.I drew first hunt for Ky side.
......and resident hunters. Exactly why I did not apply for LBL TN side this year, along with the reports I have received last two years (TN side). And would think no more "bonus" birds greatly reduces the number of non-resident hunters on our already crowded WMAs, which will still be crowded, but maybe not as bad as the past few years.
Well, that's one less turkey that's going to die this year at LBL......and resident hunters. Exactly why I did not apply for LBL TN side this year, along with the reports I have received last two years.
What's you assessment of the turkey population on the Tennessee portion of LBL??Well, that's one less turkey that's going to die this year at LBL
I had one go behind me in the pitch-black dark the first morning, didn't know what it was until it squealed and took off running.Any swine that I encounter will likely die from TSS poisoning.
