Point, which is what I fully expected. A "free" point, so still a win. From the "few" reports I have received last few years on TN side, it is nothing like it once was, which can be said for a lot of areas in TN. Good luck to those who were drawn.

Anyone know how the youth usually is? Crowd wise? Never been but grabbed my 10yr old a permit anyways maybe he'll get lucky.

I've have literally seen hogs every time I've been to LBL in the past 2 years.
Few weeks ago we had 4 young ones chasing each other by us while we were talking.
That place is out of control.

Got a point. Going to try the first youth hunt but I have never hunted there... Scouted some Sunday no sign of turkeys...

I don't turkey hunt there, but I do spend a week every November bowhunting and I have not seen/heard a turkey in 3-4 years now. Hogs have taken over the place. Used to see tons of turkey "back in the day" and managed to arrow a few. Those days are gone it seems...

We got drawn and went a couple of years ago, I hadn't been there in a good while and wasn't impressed. It's all old timber now with very few cuts, thickets and grown up fields. Hogs and hog sign everywhere.

Tuesday was a wash out. Didn't hear a single gobble from sunrise to sunset but called a few lone hens in. Wednesday was better. Got on a bird first thing and had him about 70 yards but no luck. This weekend should be a good one though.
