All season you could only carry 1 call what would you take. Don't take diaphragms getting messed up or losing calls that is not part of it.

In years past it would be Darrin Dawkins Aluminum, not the plastic pot he makes now but old school wood pot.

To be honest most of the ones I call in die to a hs strut mouth call.
If limited to one, it would be an old Robert Bros glass over slate. It has been the "ruin of many a poor boy".

Woodhaven red wasp mouth call. I have killed the majority of my birds with just a mouth call. The red wasp fits my mouth, and I like the sound.

That's my go to since I bought one in 2015 based on your recommendation.
For me a hard choice! Old yeller by K&H, or a custom slate over walnut made by my son. Had old yeller for many years and the custom from my son has caused two smart old hard to kill toms to break their own rules.
Neither have ever let me down.

That was my first pot call. Easy to use and sounds really good. I wish I knew where mine was.

Tough choice. Either my Dawkins slate in walnut pot or woodhaven red wasp
