We were on the way to the in-laws yesterday and I spotted a catalpa tree and it looked like it was being eaten pretty good so I turned around and got a closer look and the tree was loaded! We picked worms for about 20 min. yesterday and ended up with 70 worms. Today we stopped back by the tree and got 85 this time so I wound up with 155 worms in about 40min. worth of time. Now all I need is a little bit of time and I am going to seek out Mr.Whiskers.

Many, many years ago as a teenager..lol..we had two catalpa trees growing in our back yard and I spent many a day picking those wroms off and running off to catch a few catfish and brim.
Ahhh....memories!!

I sure wish I could find some we are going to run trotlines this weekend.
I just happened to see this tree from the Hwy. I knew the tree was there but I didn't know if it had any worms on it. Just lucky I guess.
