Yep getting to where I"m a fairweather fisherman and hunter. I can remember fishing with my brother. I would be sitting in the front of the boat busting ice with a bost paddle. Also hunting at Pioneer and our breaths freezing to our beards. Can't do that anymore

Hope you feel better soon. I didn't get to fish this weekend but plan on taking off Thursday and taking my dad. Weather is supposed to be decent then.

yeah but supposed to rain and then another cold snap. didnt see any on the flats like in the last two weeks. there were a couple spider riggers and one or two with livescope and they werent catching them on the flats. saw a bunch on brush piles at about 20ft but by then our hands were numb and decided to call it quits. water temp was 59.

I remember fishing in snow storms just before ice up. Fond memories for sure. But nowadays I prefer sunny and warm.
