HPA Act .....best Fake News ever

I've been reading old threads from multiple message boards from back when the HPA act was the hot topic of the day. There were some strong opinions in those old threads, it was a done deal in some people's opinion.
Now it's shelved and most likely permanently dead, in less than two years time.

Wait times really have not improved that much. Not the 18 month wait just after the 41p flood, but still way too long.

Like most republicans they were just saying what they thought would get them votes. Once they won there was no need to actually do something good for the people they represent.

I imagine with all the mass shootings recently, it might be seen as political suicide to pass any pro-gun legislation

HPA was ready to go when Hillary started talking about "What If" the Las Vegas shooter had used suppressors. In that political environment, it was pulled.

I'm getting to buy another, and am making sure to use a dealer that uses the bar code Form 4. Decreases wait time significantly.
