The friend with Drew and I just let an 8 point walk by. If he was thinking about it he was a nice buck-he said 15" but tends to underestimate from 35' up.

Just took the safety off on one, but let him walk. I hope I don't regret it, lol. It happened quickly and I couldn't tell if he had brow tines on him. Doubt he was older than 2.5, but he looked bigger and bigger from behind as he walked away. :D

Still hanging in there. Winds shifted to north about 2 hours ago, temps dropping, and rain has been heavier last hour and a half. Fine in the stand, but I have a feeling the walk out won't be fun.

Hate to say it, we were there the first hunt and it was some of the best rut activity I have ever seen at LBL. Guys camped beside us killed them and I could have but passed. Everyone saw deer where we were and saw several bucks.

hate to say it

several good bucks were still chasing in the rain one member of my party seen like 6 bucks couldnt get them to stop from all the chasing

Got this one in the pouring rain saturday. He was chasing 2 does. I would not give up a gun hunt at LBL because of rain.
