Gotta love the weekend weather

I have fished in the rain the last two Saturdays and the Friday before last.
Absolutely soaked everything in my boat.
Tomorrow I am going to KY lake to try and get my son a smallmouth.
Not gonna rain, supposedly, until the afternoon.
Flippin wind is predicted to be ENE at 5-15.

Looking forward to spending the day with him but sheesh it would be nice to have some good weather where the fish would actually bite.
I despise any wind with East in it.
I just am not a good enough fisherman to catch them then.

Seems I've always caught my best fish right before or during the rain. Leading edge of those fronts are FIRE

Just be advised: EVERYONE will be out this holiday weekend. Especially since it will be nice. Be safe and hope you catch some fish.

Keep your inflatable vests dry.

Don't worry, in a week or 2 it will be stifling hot and no wind. You will be begging for the slightest breeze.

Wasn't bad at all. Guys the bass guys avoided it and we were done before the fun boaters got out there.
