Can't wait to see my sons pintail in this with a dead mount.
Built it for him last year.
Wood is well over 100 years old.
One of my best friends grandfather built the barn the wood came from.
Gonna be sweet.

Looks good. I've got one I should be picking up in the next few weeks done the same way. Kinda nervous to see it since the taxidermist is doing the box as well.

The colors of a drake pintail will look awesome in that box. That will be a special mount. I got to hunt with my son this morning on Old Hickory. Most fun hunt I've had this season and we just killed 1 greenhead. Our boys will remember these days for years to come.

That looks great! Will this hang on the wall or set on a table like pic shows? I would like to build something like this for my bobcat but want to hang it up on the wall with my other mounts.

Thanks! I was very pleased. We killed 3 for our group today. I was lucky enough to kill 2 of them. Only one was fully mature. I'll post a couple pics when we get settled tonight.
