And BTW - that mag blend hevishot is wicked. Never had this much shot at this distance pass through the close-side breast into the opposite side breast and be lodged just under the skin. And most of the shot hit him in the noggin and neck. I've always used Winchester high velocity #5 copper plated shot until now.

Congrats, sounds like a good hunt.

I finally closed the deal on one late Tuesday after a long 2 day hunt. When I checked my bird in, it was the 27th one checked in with a 500 hunter quota.
