Planted our garden about a month later than normal this year because of the cold and then wet weather. It's been a rough year at work with overtime and other projects around the house dominating my time, but we are finally picking a few things. We've picked a handful of squash and zucchini and some peppers, hopefully tomatoes and cucumbers in the next week! My partner in crime spends a lot of time with me out there and is really proud of it! Lol

This variety of rocoto does great here. Nearly ever flower on mine last year produced a pod. Great tasting pepper too.

(Chee Wah Lee) Negro from southern Mexico. Ripens to a brown. Used mainly for a localized Oaxacan type of mole.

Antep Aci Dolma (Spicy bell from Turkey). About jalapeno hot. Just a awesome super sweet bell pepper when ripe. I dry the extra pods i cant use. The powder is like spicy sugar its so sweet.

I will have to try those cayennes next year. Do you dry them or use them fresh? I don't plant many of the hotter varieties because we just don't use anything hotter than jalapeños in our cooking. Here's one of the hauls from this week. I planted Anaheim's and tomatillos (which haven't ripened enough to be picked yet) for the first time and we have started using the Anaheim's a lot when cooking.
