As a gunsmith of over 25 years, I have had to repair very few Savage rifles.

Yeah, but just a little over a year ago it was $17.99. Still kind of irks me.

Our Axis in 223 is one-raggedy hole for 5 rounds at 100 yards, Vortex glass, 25 grains H335, Fed GM205MAR primers, 55 FMJ and 60 gr Partitions. With a 70 gr Accubond that opens up a bit to less than 1 inch but close. I paid more for the glass than the rifle.
