I killed 2 great bucks this year. This has been the best year deer hunting I've seen so far in my 40 years in the game. I think passing on small bucks has really paid off. The rut this year was incredible. I've never seen so much strong activity. There are a large amount of bucks that are broke off and the grunting was almost downright scary. Anyway I finished out my season tuesday on the private land doe hunt here in robertson co. Now it's time to shift gears to turkey season.
