Note to self: do not load 308 into a model 94 30-30

Had to remove the tube and the lever pin to get then out and now I can get the forearm screw back in

What kind of 30 30? If it's a 336, then make sure you've got the forearm band in the right direction. The screw should be easy to start if everything is right. Flip the band around and see what happens.

Tried to put a 30-06 shell into my 7mm mag.rifle once, thought dang my gun is messed up. But fortunately I found the problem.....me .

Brother grabbed up my Mossburg 500 thinking it was his 835, stuck 3 3.5" shells in, had to take my pocket knife and cut them up to get them out, dang pellets everywhere they shouldn't be.

I shot my ram rod out muzzle loader. When I went to reload I could find the ram rod. Dah. We all make stupid mistakes. Happy Thanks Giving.
