Hodgdon is taking the CFE formula's and expanding them into the IMR line.
If you take the production of say IMR4350, it has not changed in at least 35 years. There are plenty of complaints about various powders that they are sensitive to temperature changes, burn dirty, don't meter well. Witness the small cut(sc) and super small cut (ssc) extruded powders.
Varget, Superformance, and the CFE line each have individual characteristics that are very attractive. If they are combining them, great.
