I had Ronnie run 10 over his Oehler yesterday from my 204,,never weighed any,dropped them all,low 3994 high 4065 with the other 8 between 4020 and 4035,,it shoots 10 shots under .5 loaded this way with no fliers,,would you weigh every charge and try it again or just keep on dumpin??

Inside 300 yds you can probably do fine just like you are. The higher numbers will start to hurt things way out. For what you are doing with that bullet, I`d just keep on dropping them.

I would probaby just keep dumping. However, I would weigh some
just to check and see if it made a difference. I would still
weigh about evey 10th to make sure of no change.

I don't need to tell you this, you know it already. Good shooting.

Those numbers tell you if you have a good load and good accuracy. They don't always go together. If you get both you've got what you want. It's always fun to play some more. I'm still looking for a load for the 25/06. It's consistant under an inch with SDs of 6 and 7 but I would love .25 inch groups. Those numbers tell me there's something wrong with either the gun or shooter. Surely it's not me (tongue in cheek). I may never see it but it's fun trying.
