We saw a boat load the first week of mz, the cold front last Wed kicked it into gear, we saw a load of small bucks on public lands. Son smacked a small buck aggravating a couple does.
I let several walk, WAY too far in to drag them little boys.

Little bucks cruising in Grainger County but little buck sign in the woods. Ehd has reduced the deer population by ~30%.

Normally see it start up the weekend before Thanksgiving and going hard the weekend after in Rhea County. Getting close.

I have sat all day yesterday and today and have only seen 5 deer. 2 young bucks and 3 does. There seems to be some interest but I don't think things are going yet.

Quite a few older bucks being taken in Rhea Co. last couple of days. Rut should be in full swing this weekend...

I havn't been since last weekend.I have been seeing deer pretty often now driving down I-81 and a some back roads.I wasn't seeing anything so that's a positive thing.

The last couple of days I have seen several young bucks cruising and some new scrapes popping up. I think we are still a week out anyhow. Cocke County

Meigs high school yesterday morning , supposedly chased a doe all the way around the school!

good luck tomorrow.hope they'll be on there feet.Its gonna get real windy here in greene county by 11am according to the weather man.suppose to be 30mph winds and higher gust's dont think i can sit out there like that.gonna try early in the morning.And sit as long as i can.
