Wonder how he was able to survive on the edge of a food plot?

Most bucks in Stewart County still have both sides.

Think the late shedding is mostly because of the bumper acorn crop?

Never seen one chewed this thin without falling apart? Saw four bucks yesterday and three were still holding both sides.

Saturday we took the back way down to the Boro and a smallish 8 point (hadn't dropped yet) was chasing two does hard like he was 5 months late to the prom. All the way out into the road in front of me drunken teenager style. Never seen that behavior at this time of year. Especially racked up. My wife was baffled why I wouldn't stop talking about it but it floored me.

I saw two bucks this afternoon in my front yard, both still had their antlers; one 8 and one 6 point.

Just last week I had a pic of a 10 pointer I've been after that still had his horns on. I was glad to see he survived the season, but pretty surprised he hasn't shed yet.
