I didn't use one for years due to gagging. Finally decided just to muscle through it. Hardly ever use anything else now a days. Frees up your hands, reduces movement so much and sounds better to me. I've seen some great teaching videos on YouTube also. If you just can't make it work try a tube call. They are easier and sound great

Has anyone tried the smaller diaphragm calls? They look almost half the size of the standard ones.

Has anyone tried the smaller diaphragm calls? They look almost half the size of the standard ones.

Which ones or brand specifically? I bought some from Hooks earlier this year due to their smaller size and they work better than any other diaphragm call I have personally used.
