Browning A-bolt question

Does anyone know if the original A-bolt micro medallion uses the same barrel as the A-bolt 2 micro hunter? I've got an original micro medallion that I'm thinking of re- barrelling. I've found the original Browning barrel, but it's for an A-bolt 2 micro hunter.
Any help would be appreciated.
