10.5 games back 3 months ago mets was saying it's over.
Hope the braves can make some noise in the playoffs. Something tells me they will see LA and Freddie at somepoint.

That 8th inning was torture to watch but I'm glad they got it done.
I can't believe they're still called the Braves. My Great Great Great Grandpa on my Mom's side is offended.

Funny....all joking aside....the Braves organization actually works with the Cherokee Nation on fund raising for Cherokee children's college scholarships... certain nights at games they have T-shirt sales or concession sales that go to the students....seen the Cherokee Nation Chief throw out the first pitch before....he didn't look at all offended...but then again....being called "brave" isn't considered offensive.
I also remember when Cleveland changed their name from the Indians to the Guardians....a reporter asked the GM in Atlanta if he would consider changing the Braves name?....he said absolutely not but that he would continue to work with the Cherokee Nation on various fund raising projects that are beneficial to the community.....I hope Atlanta continues to stand firm in that position....Chop on!
