Did you ever make it to RD34? Will you send me your pictures of the state it was in at that time please?

My group drew that blind this year and it is in dire need of serious repair and possibly total rebuild. I have drawn a blind before and it was a luxury compared to this one - a few pieces of plywood, camo spray paint, and brush was about all it needed to leave it better than we found it for the following lucky group. That blind I pulled 3 years ago is now no longer in service which led me to believe RD34 might actually be in better shape. We are trying to dispute this so we don't get penalized for leaving it as and not having to rebuild it for 2 months of hunting.

I would greatly appreciate any interior pictures of this blind if you or anyone else has any.

I might be mistaken but the deadline for blind completion is nearing. If you don't win the dispute and the blind isn't rebuilt, you stand to be DQ'd from next years draw. Plus it is a wasted blind that nobody got this year. At worst, maybe you build the minimum dimension blind and go real simple with it.
 
The construction deadline falls on Oct 27th this year. RD34 shows it has a poor condition blind on site. Since the blind is there, he'll dodge the DQ as long as they at least leave it like it is. If they tear it down for a full rebuild, they have to get a minimum size blind in place before Oct 27 or else they will be DQ'd for next year. It might be better to do the bare minimum to be able to hunt it, and let the state burn it down before next season.
 
I drew this year on Old Hickory. The blind that was there was terrible and faced east so I got approval to move it some. I went small and simple. It's 12x8 and screwed together. Had to make very few cuts. I've built it alone. Used scrap that was given to me and some materials I had in the barn so only have about $30 in the whole thing. Everthing is screwed together so I can take it apart pretty quick in Feb. The worst part was hauling everything from the boat. But it's not been bad at all--I actually enjoyed building it. It should hunt 4 guys comfortably.
