NAML conducted a 209 primer strength test and posted the results on the page below.Yep.
Get the BH209 plug AND hot primers (FED 209A or CCI 209M) if you plan to shoot BH209. This verbiage is taken straight from CVA website:....... can anybody tell me what the difference is in the regular plug vs the Blackhorn?
If you can find them, you'll be picking my next Lotto number for me. Basically unobtainable at the moment.I have the BH breech plug. Where can I find some of the magnum primers?
I've read online where people have modified them with a lathe, but IMO, it's not worth the risk for $30.Thanks Andy i had read that and thats why i was asking about the original plug, if I could see 1 of those i might have somebody that could duplicate it lol
Hey Mike,, I got one a couple of weeks ago on Ebay from a guy in Knoxville, it was only $30 for the BH209 breech plug. Here's a pic for reference.$52 and change shipped from cva hope it aint on a boat from china lol
Dang, wish I would have known you were about to order. Numerous vendors out there that sell them for $30-35.$52 and change shipped from cva hope it aint on a boat from china lol
