Having shot both 777 builds a crude ring and the other dont, that in itself is enough benefit to make me want to use bh, the price may force me to use 777 lol wont matter in a few years as it will be centerfire due to cwd like wTn

I swab after every shot on the range regardless if it's BH209 or 777. Crud ring has never been a problem although I don't shoot many more loads once I got it dialed in.

70 grains by weight is 100 grs by volume which is what I shoot in my Remington 700ML with a 250 gr bullet.

A lb (16 oz) is 7000 grains, so the 8 oz bottle is 3500 grs.

I screwed this up, mixing by weight with by volume in the math.

Which will provide 35 100 grain by volume (70 grain by weight) loads.
Should be 3500 grains / bottle divided by 70 grains / per load = 50 loads per bottle.

so $90/35 = $2.57 per 100 grain load for BH209.
so $90/50 = $1.80 per 100 grain (volume) load for BH209.

dropping to 90 grains by volume will get you and extra 3 loads so price
dropping to 90 grains by volume will get you and extra 5 loads so price

drops to $2.31 per powder charge.
drops to $1.62 per powder charge.

Mahoneys is descent but usually is expensive. I'm going to share a treasure with y'all if you're willing to drive across the mountain - Coopers Trading Post and Prices Creek Store (within 2-3 miles of each other) in Burnsville NC. Both locally owned and my two all time favorites. Fair warning though - if you spend to much time in Burnsville you may end up moving!!!

I can't ever see myself living in NC.
