Just got conformation. EHD outbreak in Shawnee NF Southern Illinois!
last time it was DEVASTATING!

2007 and I think 2016 or 2017 was devastating here in east TN. I think the later ehd outbteak was worse than ever for northeast Tn. I seen doe's standing in creeks middle of the day. You could get within 5 feet and they wouldn't move. Let the widespread smell of death in the air give you a sign. Very well could be ehd.

2007 was rough up at SNF as well. It finally got better. I guess it was time.

The Morgan and Scott County herds have still not recovered from the 2017 outbreak. They may never.
