The jawbone is getting measured. They think 7-8
Just based on it's antler characteristics, and the area it lived, I would have "guessed" 6 1/2 or older.
Wouldn't be surprised at all if it comes back 7 1/2.

Amazing how unique a rack can become if the buck lives to 5 1/2 or older.

I would speculate this particular buck was likely just a mainframe, rather average looking "clean" 8-pointer when he was 3 1/2. Likely began developing some stickers and palmation at 5 1/2.

What were the main beams' lengths?

I have a buddy who lives in reliance . He shows me pictures of absolute hammers every year. He's killed a few. But, there all hard earned in that area.
