Two slices of a home grown Bradley tomato.
Two slices of old fashion white bread.
Four slices of bacon cooked just right.
Add lettuce....if you like.
One table spoon of mayonaise

Spread mayonaise on both slices of bread and add tomato slices
that are lightly salted (with a good Bradley, you might not even
need salt). Place the bacon slices on and add lettuce (if you
like). Press both slices of bread together with ingredients.

Stand over the kitchen sink..........eat and enjoy!!

bowriter,
I don't like the lettuce either, but I'm not sure about the
buttermilk. (ha) Also, I guess outside would be better than
over the kitchen sink.

Bacon cooked just right. That's the key. For me, that's thick cut bacon cooked until crispy crispy.

There was this tavern on a lake up near some land I used to own in Rhinelander that had the best BLTs. The bacon layer was at least an inch and half thick and crispy delicious. The tomatoes were home grown and juicy. There was nothing better.

A good home grown tomato is also a "key" too. I can't wait until
July the 4th!! In middle Tennessee, it seems like that is the
date that home growns start coming in.

Oh yea, those "home growns" are great with breakfast food too,
or any meal for that matter.
