6.5`s over a 308 all day everyday and twice on Sunday,,if you arent hunting something that you need all the energy that a 300 Win Mag generates the 6.5x47L and 6.5 CM or the 260 will all shoot as flat and hold in the wind as good as the 300 WM shooting 180 gr bullets,,,
you really have to be loading 200-210 gr++ bullets in the 300WM and be shooting past 1200 yards before the big 300 really starts to be enough better than the small 6.5s for me to even consider it.
