Anyone Have Experience....

with the Browning A-Bolt M-1000 Eclipse? Looking at one with the 26" heavy varmint/target barrel, BOSS/BOSS-CR, with a Burris Black Diamond 4x16x50 chambered in 300wsm, and Harris Bi-Pod.

I have not had the Eclipse. I had an A-Bolt Stalker 7mm once and that was a fine gun.

they look to heavy to be pratical for me(I don't know the LBs difference in a regular Abolt and the eclipse...but they are fine looking guns..I have a browning with the BOSS and it helped in recoil and would tune some loads some... The added noise it produced made me add the boss-cr...and it seems to work just as well and I can stand to shoot it without fear of killing my hearing.

I bought my 300 that has the boss used for what used browning without the boss were selling for...I wouldn't pay extra to have it...JMO
