Treating mine today. Ive already picked a half dozen off me in the last two weeks from yard work.
Bites swell up and fester and leave scars for a year on me. I hate them.

Does the clothing have to be pretreated, or can you spray your clothing the evening before, or the morning of the hunt?

It needs to have time to dry. I always pretreat mine at least two days in advance and let them hang on the back porch prior to use.

Did mine last Saturday. String all my stuff up in the barn and even do some stuff I wear outside working a lot in warm weather

It needs to dry...

What I do (not necessarily recommended), yet seems to work just fine....

Hang outside and drench with the .75% solution away from pets (esp cats). Let them hang for an hour or so until they aren't dripping solution. Then I bring in and stuff the damp clothes in the dryer and dry them on low. I started using the dryer a few years ago because at times our humidity outside in south MS is so high they never really seem to dry.
