My porch looks identical right now. Being an unlucky one who contracted Alpha Gal from turkey season I regret the years of not being more serious about ticks

Too funny! I actually REtreated all my clothes this eve as well. Been hunting hard and sweating in up to 85deg temps, so had to wash more than normal. Clothes were in need of a retreating.
20 days hunting since season started... not a single tick or chiggers so far!!!

I hung up a clothes line behind my fence for this stuff. Sprayed both my leafy suits and both pairs of boots down this morning and let them dry all day. Still have some last minute stuff to check off the list like new batteries for headlamp, dugout the ThermaCELL, but baby wipes etc

Snakes aren't shlt. Ticks are the true danger in the turkey woods
I sprayed ours last week as well. Don't forget to spray the vest and truck seats.

That resembles my back deck this time of the year and during bow season. 
Thanks for reminding me. My clothes are hanging behind my lean-to since Saturday. I need to bring them in.

Does the clothing have to be pretreated, or can you spray your clothing the evening before, or the morning of the hunt?
Pretreating clothing with permethrin and allowing it to dry pays you dividends over the following weeks with tick deterrence. The only way to go about it IMO.
