All of the straight wall AR talk is interesting- what about an AR upper in 35 Remington?

It'd have to be an AR-10, wouldn't it? Those tend to be pretty heavy, nullifying some of the handling advantages of an AR.

Good point, cartridge length would be limited to what would fit in mags, and factory saami spec ammo coal probably would be too long to work in a standard AR-15.

Also consider bot face diameter. Not sure off the top of my head what it is for 35 rem.

Isn't 35 a rimed cartridge? Not sure how it would feed in a magazine.

Not rimmed like the 3030. With all the talk of new cartridges I thought there were plenty of old ones that work well.

I was just coming to correct myself. I had to go pull a round out and look at it. I think it would work.

You can get an ar15 upper in 350 legend, which will slightly underperform the 35 Remington. You can get a 358 Winchester ar10 upper. The 358 will outperform the 35 Remington.
